A full house remodel and master bedroom addition simplified the floor plan of this 1950s era home to provide more gracious entertaining spaces, improve flow to private bedrooms and bathrooms, and bring in much-needed daylight. A new low-slung roof retained the home's original mid-century exterior scale and proportion while providing a higher, vaulted ceiling plane at the interior. Walnut details throughout unite spaces and a custom dramatic tile backsplash at the kitchen provides a focal point amongst otherwise neutral finishes.
